1The trigger
In Shopify Flow, start a workflow with the OrderMerge trigger Duplicate order detected. It runs once per new duplicate group, on the newest order, and gives you the matched order IDs, the match reasons, the confidence (high, medium or low) and the group ID.
2Ideas
Send a Slack message or email to your ops team. Add a tag or an order note your 3PL reads. Route low-confidence groups to a person and high-confidence ones to a faster path.
3The action
Release OrderMerge hold releases the hold on a group. Pass it the group ID from the trigger, for example after a wait step or a condition you trust.
